10 minute relax in the Ciutadella Park

Lunch break!

Just had lunch at a Japanees with the guys from work, great to get some air, also had time for a 10 min relax at the Ciutadella Park that we 2 seconds from work.
Spring is here for real, sooo nice!

Weekend over...

Must say that this has been a super, super nice weekend! Friday night dinner with the Girls at Rosa de Raval, Saturday relaxing at night dinner at our house and then later to Lotus. Today recovering and a nice stroll down town and I got a Burro/cloths rack from my old boss, exactly what I needed!
Now just finished the weekend with watching the movie Twilight and I´m in love, love, love...
If you haven´t seen it I just say; DO IT!!!

Saturday night...

Had a really lovely night with the girls at home watching the Swedish Eurovision final, as in swedish Svensk schlager festivalen. Now of to Lotus at Bailen 22!
Used to be an old strippers club... now a club...

Concert The Sounds

Alright! A Swedish band who sound like they come from Los Angeles. Add a wee bit of Detroit and a lot of New York. A hard-drinking blonde with the legs of a footballer, the sound a little bit 80’s party rock. Danceable. Without wanting to oversimplify, they struck me a bit like Blondie, but a much more up-to-date, and to re-iterate, Swedish. They are travelling all over, and they’ve got enough of a main-stream look to be confused with something of that sort. I wish they were, it would certainly help the main-stream. The only thing giving rise to sticky issues is their MySpace page alluding to them touring with No Doubt, but my God people, that Gwen is hawt! so I guess it’s all good. So lads, keep up the good work, don’t get too big for your britches, rock with dignity and you’ll never lack the love of the lovely ladies. And puh-lease come back for the summer festivals! Home Sick

Hmmm, a Saturday night spent home in bed.. Beening sick ain´t much fun but to see it from the bright, I´m not out spending my money drinks, dinner, disco entrances, taxi rides..

So what to do on a lonely night like this?

Well I happened to get my hands on my favorite 90 series My So Called Life - with Claire Danes. The series is from 1994 and it´s about Angela and her life as a teenager...

Harlem Jazz Club

Last night some girls and I from work went to Harlem Jazz club to see the Barcelona based group CAT NAP.
The Harlem Jazz Club has been offering live music for 18 years right in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. The programme goes from Tuesday to Sunday with a variety of styles: brazilian music, cuban, flamenco fusion, rock, folk, gypsy, jazz, ect.
Entrance is free on weekdays.

Summer Case has been canceled for the summer of 2009 according to the Sinnamon it´s the global financial crisis!
Rubbish I have to say, hope that no other festivals will do the same..

Hmm, today for many of my fellow co-workers it seemed that Anna and I had been calling each other this morning to get our outfits synchronized.. You could think that was the case but, NO!
Also hay to say a big HAPPY Birthday to Anna since it was her birthday! (ok it was Saturday, but better late then never!)

Cold sunday..

So what could be better then hamburger at Bo in Place Ruiz y Taulet and then a movie at Verdi Park.
Saw the pic The wrestler good but a bit to much blood and it got me a bit depressed.

Saturday, lazy saturday..

Had a really soft day today.. Except that when I had a shower this morning it all went a bit panic´ish coz I ran out of water... Stood with half rinsed hair!
But well when that was fixed, I went down town to meet with Cecily. We hit H&m and I went BANANAS( got my wages yesterday..) Bought the fake leather jacket I told you about a couple of week ago and many other tings!

And as we are done with are shopping spread and going to meet Emma and Cissi at Ambar we ran into a mini carnival in Rambla de Raval , Just brilliant!!
With a beer in my body(trying to forget all the money I spent on clothes) we headed to Rosa de Raval on C/ Angels 6.
Fast service and good food and lucky that we got there when we did coz in no time it filled up!
